Discover the unique charm of The Granary, a delightful retreat in Sidmouth, Devon, attached to Boswell’s historic pillared banked barn. When the wisteria is in bloom, this cottage is certainly a spectacle, offering a peaceful escape in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

This inviting home features a thoughtful layout designed for relaxation. The ground floor opens into a spacious kitchen dining area, fully equipped for preparing family evening meals or packing a picnic for your local explorations. The heart of the home also boasts a large living space complete with nice snuggly sofas, perfect for unwinding after a long day of adventure. Upstairs, the sleeping arrangements consist of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, including a master suite and a triple room with its own en-suite.

While The Granary does not have its own private garden, guests are welcome to enjoy the atmosphere of the central courtyard where the front door opens. As part of the larger Boswell Farm estate, you have access to an incredible array of shared facilities across 50 acres:

• Fishing lake (small trout lake)
• All year-round tennis court
• Table tennis
• Children’s play area
• On-site laundry (irons, ironing boards, washing machine, and drier)
• Large car park located behind the barn

Located just a short distance from the Jurassic Coast, the property is a haven for walkers and beach lovers. Whether you wish to relax on beautiful beaches, dip your feet in the sea, hire a paddleboard, or dine at one of Sidmouth’s lovely restaurants, the location is ideal.

Please note that Boswell is a working farm, so you may hear local cattle in the surrounding fields, and you might be greeted by three friendly farm dogs looking for a tummy rub.
