Inside the space, you will find a warm living area featuring a wood-burning stove for chilly evenings and a fully equipped kitchen for preparing home-cooked meals. Step out onto your private balcony to breathe in the crisp mountain air or utilize the private ski locker to keep your gear organized. While the property does not have AC—which is uncommon for this elevation—temperatures are easily managed with fans and the cool night air.

Located in the heart of the San Juan Mountains, Purgatory is a family-friendly destination approximately 25 minutes north of downtown Durango. The resort is renowned for its stunning views and extensive terrain, boasting over 1,500 skiable acres, 12 lifts, and 105 trails. During the summer, the area transforms into an outdoor playground with a bike park, alpine slide, mountain coaster, treasure panning, and various watercraft rentals on Twilight Lake.
