The home is designed with an open floor plan where the only interior walls surround the bathroom, allowing natural light to flood the space. The sleeping arrangements feature one bedroom with a comfy King-size bed enhanced by a Dormeo topper and two Dormeo pillows for a restful night. For additional guests, the living area includes a futon sleeper sofa that can accommodate one extra person.

The heart of the cabin is a full-sized kitchen equipped to cook, bake, and eat, sharing space with a dining table that seats four. A unique feature is the kitchen counter extension with tall stools, providing a cozy spot to sip coffee while looking out over the horse pastures during cooler weather. For entertainment, the living space includes a TV with a Roku firestick, Netflix, and a DVD player with a curated selection of movies.

Outdoor living is a highlight of this property. The front covered patio is equipped with a small table and chairs or outdoor recliners, perfect for viewing the horse pastures and hummingbirds. The backyard acts as a natural gateway into the forest, where guests can watch birds, chipmunks, and squirrels at the feeders—an experience described as being like a Disney movie. Binoculars and regional bird books are provided to enhance the experience.

Located just off the Trail of the Mountain Spirits, the cabin is perfectly positioned for adventure. It is only 2 miles from Lake Roberts, 15 miles from Gila Hot Springs, and 18 miles from the Gila Cliff Dwellings. The property backs up to millions of acres of public land, allowing you to hike directly from your back door into the Gila National Forest. Guests are also welcome to walk along Sapillo Creek.

• Access: Entry requires driving through a creek crossing. A vehicle with clearance (small SUV) or 4WD/AWD is highly recommended, especially during monsoon season.
• Location Note: This is a remote area. The nearest grocery store is in Silver City (approximately one hour away), and the closest restaurant is about 25 minutes away. Cell service is unavailable for much of the drive to the cabin.
• Ranch Rules: Ranch dogs roam freely. Please do not access barns or shop areas without permission. Horse visits must be coordinated and accompanied by staff for liability reasons.
