Rental Period and Occupancy: Check-in time is 4 p.m. Check out time is 10 a.m. Early arrival or late departure times are available, subject to availability - additional charges may apply. Availability is not determined until 48 hours prior to arrival/departure. We are unable to guarantee early check in or late departure until the 48 hour window has opened.
OCCUPANCY
Occupancy is set at 2x's the number of bedrooms that the units sleeps unless otherwise noted by Global Vacation Rentals (maximum occupancy excludes children under the age of three years old). The property is provided for general vacation use only. Vacation rentals may not be used for events or group gatherings that exceed occupancy. Only Guests’ whose names are on the Rental Agreement are authorized to stay in the home. Any Guest having events or group gatherings in the home or exceeding the numbers of authorized Guests will be immediately evicted without refund.
Upon arrival
If there are concerns or issues with your rental property, please immediately contact our office (leave a message if there is no answer). No refunds or considerations are given unless we are notified of problems during your stay.
It may be necessary for staff or agents of Global Vacation Rentals to enter the premises in order to perform routine maintenance or repairs.
REGISTERING VEHICLES WITH THE RESORT GATE:
Please signify who is driving a vehicle. We must register each driver with the resort. (Max. 3 Drivers) *Valid driver's license is required
**If you have anyone coming to visit, they will need to be registered as well; please let us know who will be visiting and the dates of their visit.
AIR CONDITIONING:
Global Vacation Rentals regularly inspects and maintains air conditioning units at all properties. However, repairs may be required or outages can occur. We will take immediate steps to have the unit serviced and repaired.
Temperature control in the house should never be set below 72 degrees F as the unit will not function properly leading to outage and freezing. If the unit is found to be set lower than 72 degrees and the AC is not working, it is considered damage by the guest and charges for the vendor to fix the unit will be applied to the guest stay.
CABLE, INTERNET, POWER & SERVICES
In the event of an outage, Global Vacation Rentals will make every attempt to restore services as quickly as possible with the cable or internet provider. Please note that technicians may not be available on evenings and weekends and we do not accept liability for internet or cable outages and will not offer refunds. Global Vacation Rentals does not accept liability for any failure of utilities such as gas, water, electricity. In the event of a major power outage, we will attempt to relocate the guest to a property with full services.
MISSING, DAMAGED OR MISUSED ITEMS
Global Vacation Rentals has a right to charge my card for any missing, damaged, or misused items. Any and all damages that are observed upon arrival to the property must be reported to the front desk within 24 hours of arrival. Global Vacation Rentals reserves the right to determine what action or damage is accidental or negligent. It may be necessary for staff or agents of Global Vacation Rentals to enter the premises in order to perform routine maintenance or repairs.
PETS:
For not-pet friendly homes: If we find there has been a pet in the home, there will be a minimum charge of $500 to steam carpets/upholstery and for dry cleaning.
For pet-friendly homes: There is a two-dog limit and are an additional non-refundable fee. (Fee depends on the size of the home). If we find there has been a pet in the home that has not been disclosed, there will be a minimum charge of $500 to steam carpets/upholstery and for dry cleaning. Arrangements and separate pet-agreement must be completed prior to arrival in order to bring your pet.
GRILL RENTALS
Gas grills are available for rent in all of Global's rental units (Does not apply to condos or townhomes where the HOA does not allow BBQ rentals) for an additional cost. Weekly grill rentals are available plus tax for the week. Please contact our office to reserve your grill rental.
QUIET TIME
Please respect your neighbors. Quiet hours are from 10:00pm - 8:00am. Violation of quiet hours, exhibiting excessive noise, unreasonably loud music or participating in lewd, lascivious or tumultuous behavior (as verified by the resort staff) will cause a $100 charge to you per incident.
If your neighbor is not respecting quiet hours, please contact the Osceola Sheriff’s non-emergency number in order to be routed to the Sheriff Deputy on site. If you are in the Solterra or Windsor Island resort, call Polk County Sheriff non-emergency line.
The property should be left reasonably clean. If the property is not left in a suitable condition, it may be necessary to charge a resolution in Airbnb for costs to cover extra cleaning.
CHECKOUT PROCEDURES
I agree to complete the following tasks prior to checkout and understand that failure to perform these tasks will result in an additional charge ranging between $150.00 - $350.00:
Rinse and place dirty dishes in the dishwasher
Close and lock all doors and windows
Remove all debris and dishes from the pool and patio area
Place any furniture that has been moved back to the original location
Collect all loose trash in trash bags and place them in the kitchen or the trash bin outside the front door.
TOWELS & LINENS
I agree to pay the replacement cost for any damaged, stained or missing towels and bed linens at the below rates:
Bath towels - $15
Hand towels - $6
Washcloths - $3
Sheets - $30
Cleats/sports equipment are not to be cleaned in the home or with towels from the home. All linens and towels are property of the homeowner and must be left in the property. Global Vacation Rentals has a right to charge my card for any missing, damaged, or misused items.
PACKAGES: All packages are to be sent to the Global Vacation Rentals office for pickup. All packages under 5 pounds (or small in size) are charged $15.00 for the first 48 hours and then $10.00 per day thereafter. All larger packages are charged $20 for first 48 hours and then $15 per day thereafter. There are NO exceptions to this policy. Global Vacation Rentals is not held responsible for any packages after 30 days of delivery date.
POOL HEAT (if applicable)
*There is an additional charge for heating the pool/spa. That transaction will have to be processed once the booking is complete.
Failure of the pool pump, heater, or other pool equipment will result in a refund of pool heat charges paid for the period in which the outage occurred. Global Vacation Rentals will take immediate steps to have the equipment serviced and repaired. If pool heat was included complimentary in your reservation, no refund will be offered. During cooler weather, pool heaters may struggle to keep the water temperature above 80 degrees. This does not constitute equipment failure and no refund shall be given.
The pool pump must be on for the heater to work. Pool heat is an additional charge. If you paid for pool heat, the timer will be set from 8am to 8pm. For the safety of the pool heating equipment, the heater cannot run continuously or go above 86 degrees the state of Florida requires the hot tub to not go higher than 104 when the jets are activated.
Parents must at all times, supervise children when using pool facilities and the facilities of the development. Global Vacation Rentals its agents or homeowners accept no responsibility or liability for failure of equipment in the rental property.
After notification of equipment failure, Global Vacation Rentals will rectify the problem in a reasonable and timely manner.
Global Vacation Rentals is not responsible for any lost or stolen items and is not responsible for any items left behind by guests. Indemnification: Guest hereby agrees to indemnify and hold Global Marketing Services, Inc (dba, Global Vacation Rentals) harmless for injuries or other losses to Guest and other persons and property that may occur in connection with Guest's use of the Premises.
Global Vacation Rentals is not under any obligation to accept for safekeeping any moneys, securities, jewelry or other articles of personal property belonging to Guest, nor is Global Marketing Services, Inc. liable for any loss in connection with any such items, or for providing security for the Premises.
Errors or Omissions: Global Vacation Rentals reserves the right to cancel any booking made as a result of an error, omission or other unforeseen circumstance. This includes verbal, written or website errors which may affect the price, availability or type of unit rented.
