While the property serves as a wonderful hub for exploring the region, please be aware of important local conditions regarding the coastline. Due to ongoing issues with water treatment pumps in Mexico, the ocean is not guaranteed to be open at this time. Local authorities test bacteria levels daily, but for a significant portion of the year, the ocean has remained closed from the Border, past Imperial Beach, up to Coronado Beach. If swimming in the ocean is a primary requirement for your vacation, the host recommends considering other areas until further notice.

To ensure a seamless visit, please adhere to the following house policies. Check-in is available starting at 3:00 PM, and check-out is scheduled for 10:00 AM. Please note that pets are not allowed on the premises to maintain the quality of the home for all future guests. The following rules and regulations are made for the safety and enjoyment of all, including those of us who live here full time. This guide is designed to address concerns regarding issues of health and safety, security, maintenance costs and respect for the enjoyment of all.

Fines will be assessed according to procedures in the CC&R’s by the Board of Directors to unit owners, when any of the following violations are observed.
1. Throwing anything from interior or exterior balconies.
2. Unauthorized persons on roof areas.
3. Persons under 14 years of age left unsupervised in the pool/spa areas. A responsible ADULT must be with them at all times.
4. Running, diving, cannon balls, etc. into the pool/spa.
5. Surfboards, body boards, wet suits, and beach equipment in the pool/spa.
6. Sandy persons or swim wear in the pool/spa. Prior to entering the area, please use the outside shower opposite the first floor elevator, designed for this purpose.
7. Glass containers of any kind in the pool/spa area.
8. Excessively loud games in the pool/spa and other common areas (Marco Polo).
9. Use of the pool/spa during closed hour- 10:00pm through 8am.
10. Persons in the fountain by the pool.
11. Persons under 18 in the Exercise Room unattended by an ADULT.
12. Skating, skateboarding or bicycling in inner common areas.
13. Playing in elevators, running on interior stairs and balconies.
14. Putting household trash in any trash receptacle other than those provided in the parking garage, littering, especially cigarette butts.
15. Excessive noise or public disturbance resulting in complaints by other residents.
16. Propping open or purposely leaving ajar any entryway to either the complex or the pool/spa area.
17. Climbing any walls or railings, including interior and exterior balconies (e.g., short wall overlooking Dunes Park and pool gates).
18. Parking in unassigned parking space.
19. Problems caused by leaving garage door opener in your vehicle.
Due to the close proximity of the units, sound travels easily in the interior common area. Please be considerate of other residents.
