This cozy, modern space finished in 2023 offers an open floor plan filled with natural light, designed for those seeking a serene retreat. The sleeping arrangements include two bedrooms and two beds, accommodating up to 5 guests. The main floor features a bedroom with a double-twin bunk bed, while the second-story loft bedroom hosts a queen bed and provides an open view of the downstairs living area along with gorgeous vistas of the Wallowa Mountains and lake.

Inside, you will find a cozy living space centered around a wood stove, flowing seamlessly into a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen includes a 4-burner stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, small refrigerator, and all necessary pots, pans, and utensils. For connectivity, guests have access to excellent fiber internet at 100 Mbps, though the chalets are intentionally kept TV-free to encourage disconnection. The main floor also contains a bathroom with a large shower and a convenient laundry room with a washer and dryer.

Outdoor living is a highlight, with a semi-covered deck featuring a gas grill, bar-style eating area, and lawn chairs. Guests are welcome to explore the entire half-acre property, which includes a walking path.

Located just 8 minutes from the town of Joseph and 5 minutes from Wallowa Lake State Park, the property offers direct access to 2,000 acres of public land in the East Moraine Community Forest. Wallowa Lake is a scenic 15-minute walk from the door.

• Parking: Two designated spots per chalet
• Access: Reachable via a 1/2 mile rugged gravel road; AWD/4WD and chains are highly recommended in winter. Long Sprinter vans, extended cab trucks, or large trailers are not permitted.
• Rules: No smoking. Strictly no flushing of items other than toilet paper due to a sensitive septic system.
• Pets: Well-behaved, non-vocal, and chill dogs are welcome but must be leashed, cannot be on furniture, and may never be left unattended.
• Safety: The property is located on a slope with unstable terrain; children must be supervised. A security camera monitors the parking lot.
