1. Registered Guests Only: Only guests included in the reservation may stay overnight. Ask us before inviting additional visitors.
2. No Parties or Events: Parties, events and disruptive gatherings are not permitted at LakeHaus40 unless pre-approved with the host.
3. Quiet Hours: Please keep noise low from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. and respect our neighbours at all times.
4. No Indoor Smoking: Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the cottage or any enclosed structure.
5. Dispose of Cigarettes Safely: Use a suitable outdoor container. Never discard cigarette butts on the property or near the lake.
6. Return Items to Their Place: Before checkout, return furniture, games, remotes, kitchen items and other belongings to their original locations.
7. Report Damage: Please tell us promptly about any damage, breakage, loss or maintenance issue so we can help.
8. Supervise Children: Children must be actively supervised near the lake, dock, firepit, stairs and recreational equipment.
9. Life Jackets Required: A properly fitted life jacket must be worn whenever using a canoe, kayak, paddleboard, paddleboat or other watercraft.
10. Return Life Jackets: After use, hang life jackets and return paddles and waterfront accessories to their designated storage areas.
11. Return Watercraft: After each use, remove canoes, kayaks and paddleboards from the water and secure them on the designated rack.
12. Secure Other Water Equipment: Return the paddleboat and all other waterfront equipment to their marked or designated locations after use.
13. Safe Watercraft Use: Do not use watercraft during storms, high winds, poor visibility, after dark or while impaired.
14. Water Equipment Is for Guests: Do not lend or allow unregistered visitors to use watercraft or other recreational equipment.
15. Firepit Safety: Keep fires small and supervised. Fully extinguish the fire after use and follow all local fire bans and restrictions.
16. No Fireworks: Fireworks, sparklers and sky lanterns are not permitted anywhere on the property.
17. Respect the Lake and Wildlife: Do not feed wildlife or leave food, garbage or personal belongings outdoors, on the dock or by the shoreline.
18. Designated Parking Only: Park in the driveway without blocking the road or neighbours. Do not park on grass or septic areas.
19. Protect the Septic System: Flush toilet paper only. Wipes, sanitary products, grease, food and paper towels must go in the garbage.
20. Keep Doors and Windows Secure: Close and lock all windows and exterior doors whenever leaving the cottage and at checkout. 21 Use Systems Responsibly: Do not disconnect, move, reset or alter the internet, security, electrical or mechanical equipment.
21. Approved Pets Only: Pets must be included in the reservation, supervised, kept off beds and furniture, and cleaned up after.
22. Outdoor Furniture Only: Do not take indoor furniture, bedding, towels or other indoor belongings outside.
23. Garbage and Recycling: Before checkout, place all waste in the correct outdoor bins and securely close the lids.
24. Used Towels: At checkout, place used towels together on the bathroom floor. Do not leave wet towels on beds, furniture or wood floors.
25. Dishes: Wash, dry and put away all used dishes, cookware and utensils before checkout. Please do not leave dirty dishes in the sink.
26. Checkout Time: Checkout is by 11:00 a.m. unless a different time has been approved in writing.
27. Before Leaving: Remove personal items and food, turn off lights and small appliances, close windows, and lock all exterior doors.
