The property features a unique and quirky layout, as it was originally two tiny farmworkers’ cottages combined into one charming home. The living space is split into two distinct yet connected areas: a bright, open-plan kitchen and dining area on one side, and a snug, sun-filled sitting room on the other. Sleeping arrangements consist of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, accommodating up to 4 guests. One quirky staircase leads to a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, while another leads to a twin bedroom featuring two single beds that can be converted into a super-king upon request. For added convenience, a separate shower room is located downstairs, providing a touch of independence for families or friends.

Outside, the sunny, south-facing garden serves as a secluded haven that wraps around the cottage, bordered by open fields and a traditional Devon bank. This spacious, enclosed outdoor area is dotted with benches, a hammock swing, and a dining table under a graceful willow, perfect for alfresco dining or relaxing. In the summer, guests are welcome to enjoy seasonal strawberries, plums, and apples from the garden. The natural surroundings are teeming with wildlife, including red kites, deer, and foxes, while the nearby River Otter is home to beavers.
