For those traveling from Oslo or Gardermoen, it is highly recommended to take road E134 over Haukelifjell rather than Road 7, as weather conditions are generally better on E134 during the winter and ferry frequency from Kinsarvik to Utne can be limited. Travelers arriving from Odda may choose the fastest route through Jondal or opt for the route through Utne to enjoy the beautiful nature along the way.
