Before you leave at 10am, please start the dishwasher or hand-wash any dirty dishes, return furniture and items to their original spots, and lock all windows and doors. In winter, set the heat to 55 degrees before departure. Trash goes in the exterior barrels in the garage - housekeeping will take care of the rest.
A note on Maine's natural environment: depending on the season, you may encounter mosquitoes, black flies, ticks, sand fleas, spiders, ants, no-see-ums, and other insects.
