Location & Neighborhood Located in the charming and historic community of Wawona, this home is situated 6 miles inside the south entrance of Yosemite National Park. The property is surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the South Fork of the Merced River and is just minutes away from breathtaking landmarks. You are only 5 minutes from Chilnualna Falls, Swinging Bridge, and the Big Trees Lodge Golf Course and Stables. The Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias is a short 15-minute drive, while the iconic Yosemite Valley—home to Half Dome and El Capitan—is approximately 45 minutes away. Wawona offers a small-town feel with access to local markets, scenic riparian meadow wildlife viewing, and traditional stagecoach rides during the summer season.

Practical Info & Rules Check-in begins at 4:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM. Guests must visit the office at 8038 Chilnualna Falls Rd, Wawona, CA to receive keys. Please note that pets are not allowed. The maximum occupancy is strictly enforced per County of Mariposa regulations. Cribs and highchairs are available for $20.00 per item with advance notice. For winter visits (November to April), tire chains are required by law. An EV charging station is available at the Main Office.
