Location & Neighborhood Nestled in the historic community of Wawona, this retreat is located 6 miles inside the south entrance of Yosemite National Park. Guests are just 5 minutes away from the South Fork of the Merced River, Chilnualna Falls, and the Swinging Bridge. The property offers partial river views and a stunning vantage point of Wawona Dome from the deck. Within 15 minutes, you can reach the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias, while the iconic Yosemite Valley—home to El Capitan and Half Dome—is a 45-minute drive. For leisure, the Big Trees Lodge Golf Course and stables for horseback riding are only 5 minutes away.

Practical Info & Rules Check-in begins at 4:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM. Guests must visit the office at 8038 Chilnualna Falls Rd, Wawona, CA, to collect keys. Please note that this cabin does not have air conditioning. Cribs and highchairs are available for $20.00 per item with advance notice. Guests are reminded that the maximum occupancy is strictly enforced per County of Mariposa permits. During winter months (November to April), tire chains are required for all vehicles. There are no refunds provided for power outages or inclement weather.
