Designed for families and groups, the home features 3 bedrooms, 3 beds, and 2 bathrooms, with a total guest capacity of 8. The interior layout is thoughtfully arranged for comfort, including a living room equipped with a fireplace and satellite TV. The kitchen comes fully equipped with all necessary cooking and dining essentials, including dishes, glasses, pots, pans, and knives. Step outside to the partially covered private deck to enjoy a gas BBQ, picnic table, and lounge chairs while watching wildlife stroll by or listening to the songs of robins and blue jays.

Location & Neighborhood The home is located in the charming and historic community of Wawona, situated inside the south entrance of Yosemite National Park. This prime location serves as a wonderful home base for exploration. You are just 5 minutes from Chilnualna Falls, Swinging Bridge, and the South Fork of the Merced River. The Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias is a quick 15-minute drive away, while the iconic Yosemite Valley—home to Half Dome, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls—is approximately 45 minutes away. Local favorites like the Big Trees Lodge Dining Room and the historic Wawona Swinging Bridge are all within easy reach.

Practical Info & Rules

• Check-in: 4:00 PM (Visit the office at 8038 Chilnualna Falls Rd, Wawona, CA to receive keys)
• Check-out: 10:00 AM
• Pets: Allowed with a fee of $60.00 per night per pet
• Additional Fees: Cribs and highchairs are available for $20.00 each per stay (must be paid directly to The Redwoods in Yosemite)
• Parking: Space available for three cars
• Important Notes: No air conditioning. Tire chains are required for all vehicles from November to April. Complementary washers and dryers are available at the main office building.
