The heart of the home features a fully equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven, coffee maker, and toaster, along with all the dishes and silverware you'll need. The inviting living room centers around a wood-burning indoor fireplace with seasonal firewood provided, creating the perfect atmosphere for evening relaxation.

The area also provides convenient access to dining options including Big Trees Lodge Dining Room just 5 minutes away, plus seasonal activities like golf at the historic Big Trees Lodge Golf Course and horseback riding at nearby stables.

Practical amenities include two local convenience stores for basic supplies, though major grocery shopping is recommended in Oakhurst before entering the park. Gas stations are limited within the park, so fueling up in Oakhurst is advised. Complimentary laundry facilities are available at the main office building.

Check-in begins at 4:00 PM at the office located at 8038 Chilnualna Falls Rd, Wawona, with checkout at 10:00 AM. Please note that pets are not allowed, and cribs and highchairs are available for an additional $10-20 per item with advance notice. Winter driving conditions may require tire chains from November to April.
