The home features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, comfortably accommodating up to 6 guests. Sleeping arrangements are flexible to suit families or groups: the first bedroom is equipped with 2 full beds, while the second bedroom provides a queen bed and a twin bed.

Located in the historic community of Wawona, the lodge is ideally positioned for adventure. You are only 5 minutes from Chilnualna Falls, the Swinging Bridge, and the South Fork of the Merced River. The Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias is a short 15-minute drive away, while the iconic Yosemite Valley—home to Half Dome and El Capitan—is reachable in about 45 minutes. Guests can enjoy local activities such as horseback riding at Big Trees Lodge Stable or a round of golf at the historic Big Trees Lodge Golf Course.

Practical Information: Check-in begins at 4:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM. Guests must visit the office at 8038 Chilnualna Falls Rd to receive keys; instructions for late arrivals are provided in advance. Bedding and bath linens are provided, with exchanges available during office hours. Please note that guests should bring their own food staples, such as salt, pepper, and spices. Cribs and highchairs are available for $10.00 per item per reservation with advance notice.

Important Guidelines: Maximum occupancy is strictly enforced per County of Mariposa permits. From November to April, winter driving conditions are common, and tire chains are required for all vehicles. Please be aware that there are no refunds for power outages or inclement weather. Cell service is primarily limited to Verizon and Sprint, though the cabin provides a telephone with unlimited local and long-distance calling.
