The living area is centered around a charming stone fireplace—with wood provided during the season—and includes a sofa sleeper, satellite TV, and a curated collection of books and DVDs for quiet evenings indoors.

Prepare home-cooked meals in the fully equipped kitchen, which comes complete with a dishwasher, an island, and all necessary cooking and dining essentials. Outside, you can listen to the soothing sounds of the Merced River while grilling on the gas BBQ or stargazing from the spacious private deck.

Located just 4 miles inside the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park, Wawona is a historic gem. You are only 5 minutes from the Swinging Bridge, Chilnualna Falls, and the South Fork of the Merced River. Other nearby highlights include the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias (15 minutes), Badger Pass Ski Area (35 minutes), and the iconic Yosemite Valley (45 minutes). The area is bustling with activity, from horseback riding at Wawona Lodge Stables to golfing on the historic Wawona Lodge Golf Course.

Check-in begins at 4:00 PM at the main office located at 8038 Chilnualna Falls Rd; check-out is by 10:00 AM. Please note that this is a smoke-free and pet-free cabin. The property does not have air conditioning. Guests are reminded that tire chains are required for travel from November to April due to winter conditions. Cribs and highchairs are available for an additional $20.00 per item with advance notice. Complementary laundry facilities are available at the main office building.
