Discover Cubby's Den, a tastefully decorated 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin perfectly situated in the charming historic community of Wawona, just 6 miles inside Yosemite National Park's south entrance. This cozy 546 square foot retreat with a 298 square foot deck provides an ideal home base for exploring Yosemite's natural wonders.

The cabin sleeps up to 4 guests with a comfortable queen bed in the bedroom and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. The single bathroom includes essential amenities and a hair dryer for your convenience.

This historic area was known to the local Miwok as Pallachun, meaning "a good place to stay." You'll be steps away from incredible natural attractions including Chilnualna Falls (0.5 miles), the historic Wawona Swinging Bridge with its natural water slide, and the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias (6 miles). The location provides easy access to Yosemite Valley (24 miles), Glacier Point (29 miles), and numerous hiking trails. Local dining options include Big Trees Lodge Dining Room just 5 minutes away, plus seasonal activities like golf, horseback riding, and wildlife viewing in Wawona Meadow Loop.

Practical Information: Check-in begins at 4:00 PM at the office located at 8038 Chilnualna Falls Rd, Wawona, where you'll receive keys and late arrival instructions if needed. Check-out is at 10:00 AM. The property includes all bedding, bath linens, essential toiletries, and kitchen basics. Cribs and highchairs are available for $20 each per stay (paid directly to The Redwoods in Yosemite). Linen exchange is available during office hours, and complimentary laundry facilities are located at the main office. Please note that pets are not allowed, and winter tire chains are required from November to April.
