You're just 5 minutes from Chilnualna Falls (the second-highest vertical drop waterfall in Yosemite), the historic Wawona Swinging Bridge with its natural water slide, and the South Fork of the Merced River. The Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias is 15 minutes away, while Yosemite Valley's iconic landmarks including Half Dome, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls are 45 minutes from your door.

Wawona offers convenient amenities including the Big Trees Lodge Dining Room (5 minutes), multiple restaurants within 15 minutes, and the historic Big Trees Lodge Golf Course - the first regulation course in the Sierra Nevada, opened in 1918. Check-in begins at 4:00 PM at the office located at 8038 Chilnualna Falls Rd, where you'll receive your keys and any late arrival instructions. Check-out is at 10:00 AM. All bedding, bath linens, bath soap, dish soap, and basic supplies are provided. Cribs and highchairs are available for $10.00 per item with advance notice. The cabin accommodates a maximum of 4 guests as required by Mariposa County rental permits. Please note that pets are not allowed, and this cabin does not have air conditioning.
