General: House to be left clean and tidy (as you found it), dishes done, and rubbish put out in the correct bins.

Rubbish: Managing rubbish can be a challenge for us so to assist, please only dispose of household rubbish accumulated during your stay. Please dont put general household rubbish in the yellow recycling bins. Please flatten all cardboard boxes and empty your bottles and cans prior to putting them in the recycle bin. Additional fees will be charged if rubbish needs to be sorted or if you leave excess rubbish.

Furniture: Please do not move furniture, appliances, or décor items around in the house. We like them where they are.

BBQ and Oven rules(if applicable): We know some of our guests love to cook up a storm while they are away but they don’t so much enjoy the clean up. We work on an honour system for the BBQ and the Oven and ask that you leave them clean and ready for the next guest. If this isn’t a job you want to be doing while you are away then please don’t use these appliances. We apologise if the previous guest didn’t respect these rules. The cleaning fee doesn't cover a BBQ or Oven deep clean and if you leave it dirty you will be charged an extra cleaning fee.

Gas Bottles - we encourage guests to check the gas supply before use and if you find the gas bottle empty we will happily reimburse you the cost of the exchange bottle from the local service station (just send us a copy of the receipt). If there is a second gas bottle, please let us know if you have had to swap it over so that we can arrange a refill.

Breakages: We understand that accidents happen, so we wont charge you for a broken glass or plate. In the even that you break or damage something please notify us immediately so that we can replace it before our next guests. We check inventory and furniture after each guest and significant damages or breakages will be charged to you.

AirCon/Heating Units: The AC unit is for both heating and cooling. Please leave the unit set to Auto and adjust your temperature. The unit will take between 15 and 30 mins to heat or cool so please be patient. Playing with the settings during this period will just delay the time it takes for the unit to work. Please turn the AC off when you are not home and when check out.

OCCUPANTS: The number of people occupying the holiday home must be advised and paid for. Any additions to this must be communicated prior to arrival and cannot exceed the maximum occupancy under any circumstances. We reserve the right to terminate the contract should the maximum number of guest be exceeded. If you require twin share, please advise in advance and a $25 fee may apply.

UTILITIES: Whilst every effort is made to ensure connections are available during your stay (electricity, gas, water & Internet if applicable) outages are outside of our control and will not be compensated.

Hot Water: This house has an electric storage hot water system which typically heats up overnight. It is not instant and is not an unlimited supply so please be mindful of your usage.
