Chalet 🏡 Rules - For a pleasant and harmonious stay!

1. Host👥 capacity: Maximum occupancy must be respected to ensure everyone's comfort. Any additional guests must be pre-approved by the host. A fee of $35 + taxes/night/person applies. Please also let us know about any visits during the day. 2)🚭 Smoke-free environment: In order to maintain a healthy atmosphere, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the chalet or near openings (balconies, windows, doors). Please use the parking space and ashtrays provided. 3)🤫 Noise and neighborhood: Please respect our neighbors and the tranquility of the place. Outside noise must be kept to a minimum after 10:00 PM and kept at a moderate level during the day. 4)🛋️ Care and respect for the place & Security deposit: We ask that you take care of the accommodation, the furniture and the decor. Please note that a security deposit is required upon arrival. 5)🛠️ Damage management: Any broken, damaged, or lost item must be reported promptly. In the event of damage or breach, this deposit may be retained, in whole or in part, to cover the cost of replacement or repair. The guest agrees to reimburse any damage exceeding the amount of the security deposit (furniture is included; minor repairs will be given priority if applicable). 6)👤 Guest responsibility: The person who made the reservation is responsible for the proper use of the chalet and for enforcing these rules throughout the stay. 7)🧖 Use of the hot tub: The hot tub is available for relaxation! 💦 Regular maintenance is carried out, but if an unplanned water change is required after your stay due to improper use, a $350 fee may apply. 8)🌡️ Water temperature upon arrival: We do our best to ensure that the spa is at the ideal temperature as soon as you arrive. However, a recent water change may cause a heating delay. No refunds will be given in these cases. 9)📞 Assistance and communication: If you have a problem upon arrival or during your stay, contact us promptly, giving us a reasonable amount of time to resolve it. We are available from 9am - 9am. In case of an emergency, dial 911.( No refund will be given if you decline the proposed help). 10)❌ Prohibition of firearms: The possession of firearms is strictly prohibited, both inside and outside the chalet. 11)🗑️ Trash management and maintenance: Please take out the trash, compost, and recycling before your departure and place them in the space designated by the host. Please make sure the dishes are done and the premises are tidy before leaving. Failure to do so may incur additional charges. 12)😷 Cancellation policy (COVID-19 and illness): No refunds will be given for a positive COVID-19 test, any other illness, or the death of a loved one. 13)❄️ Food storage: Some refrigerators take time to cool food that was at room temperature. We recommend using a cooler with ice packs to keep your food fresh during transport. 14)🐶 Pets: Please respect the rules regarding pets sent previously and pick up their waste. Failure to follow these guidelines may incur additional costs. 15)🎒 Lost property: Please ensure you have all your belongings before leaving. For any forgotten items sent, you will be charged $90 + tax as well as the transportation costs. 16)🌲 Nature and insects: As the cottage is located in the heart of nature, small animals or insects can enter if the doors are left open. In the hot season, biting bugs may be present outdoors. In colder times, small rodents may occasionally seek refuge in the residences (exterminator treatments are applied regularly). The host is not responsible for these natural phenomena. 17)⚠️ Non-compliance: By booking, you agree to follow these rules. Failure to comply with these may result in additional charges depending on the violation. 18)🔌 Power outages: Thank you for your understanding. In Quebec, power outages occasionally occur. While unpredictable and beyond our control, 90% of outages last less than 5 hours and are resolved quickly.❌ If the outage lasts less than 5 hours, no refund will be given.🌙 If a breakdown of less than 10 hours occurs partially during the night (after 11pm), no refund will be applied.💰 For longer outages, a 30% refund of the nightly rate may be available, depending on Airbnb's policies.💡 During a breakdown: The water pump won't work temporarily. If the cottage has a generator, its use is at the discretion of the owner depending on the size of the outage. 4. 🤫 Noise and Neighbors: Please respect our neighbors and the peace of the area. Outdoor noise must be kept to a minimum after 10:00 p.m. and moderated during the day. 4)🛋️ Care of the Premises & Security Deposit: We kindly ask you to take good care of the accommodation, furniture, and decor. Please note that a security deposit is required upon arrival. 5)🛠️ Damage Policy: Any broken, damaged, or lost items must be reported promptly. In the event of damage or breakage, this deposit may be withheld, in whole or in part, to cover replacement or repair costs. The guest agrees to pay for any damages exceeding the deposit amount (this includes furniture; minor repairs will be prioritized where applicable).
5. 👤 Traveler Responsibility The person who made the reservation is responsible for the proper use of the cottage and the enforcement of these rules throughout the stay.
6. 🧖 Hot Tub (Spa) Use The hot tub is available for your relaxation! 💦 Regular maintenance is performed, but if an unscheduled water change is required after your stay due to misuse, a $350 fee may apply.
7. 🌡️ Water Temperature on Arrival We do our best to ensure the hot tub is at the ideal temperature for your arrival. However, a recent water change may cause a heating delay. No refunds will be granted in these cases.
8. 📞 Support and Communication If you encounter any issues upon arrival or during your stay, please contact us promptly, giving us a reasonable timeframe so that we can resolve them. We are available from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. In case of emergency, dial 911.(No refund will be given if you refuse the provided help). 10)❌ Prohibition of firearms: The possession of firearms is strictly prohibited, both inside and outside the cottage.

10. 😷 Cancellation Policy (COVID-19 & Illness) No refunds will be granted for positive COVID-19 tests, or any other illness or the death of a relative.
11. ❄️ Food Storage Some refrigerators take time to cool food that was at room temperature. We recommend using a cooler with ice packs to preserve your food during transportation.
12. 🐶 Pet Policy: Please follow the pet rules previously sent and please pick up after them. Failure to comply may result in additional charges.
13. 🎒 Lost and Found Please ensure you have all your belongings before leaving. For the shipping of your forgotten items, you will be charged $90 + tax and the shipping rate.
14. 🌲 Nature and Insects As the cottage is located in the heart of nature, small animals or insects may enter if doors are left open. In warmer weather, biting insects may be present outdoors. In colder weather, small rodents may occasionally seek shelter in residences (exterminator treatments are applied regularly). The host cannot be held responsible for these natural occurrences.
