As part of our noise ordinances and guest covenants rules, we ask that you be respectful of your neighbors. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Please review the Guest Covenants Rules you agreed to during booking, which can also be found in the SkyRun Guest Binder located in the vacation rental. Please note that noise complaints may result in early eviction, which we would like to avoid. Bear visits are common in the Tahoe Donner neighborhood, so it is crucial to take precautions. Do not leave excess trash or open food and beverage containers outside, including on decks, patios, or in vehicles. Always keep car windows rolled up and doors locked, and ensure the garage door is closed and all windows and doors are secured when you leave the property or at night. Garbage pick-up happens on Tuesday mornings, so if your stay includes a Tuesday, please place all garbage in the Bear Bin at the entrance of the driveway, ensuring the doors are latched securely. Keep all waste in the provided trash cans or the Bear Bin, and for excess garbage that doesn’t fit, please take it to Tahoe Truckee Sierra Disposal. Regarding maximum occupancy, please remember that pets, smoking, and house parties or events are not allowed. Guests under 25 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and we kindly ask that you remove your shoes upon entering the home. Equipment for winter or summer activities is prohibited inside the home; kindly store such items in the garage or the spacious enclosed mudroom near the entrance. For electronics and remotes, please do not tamper with or change any TV or electronics cables or switches, and keep remotes in their designated rooms. When using the BBQ grill, ensure that the propane is turned off after each use, and regularly check the grease tray to prevent fires. Clean the grill after use, and cover it when cool. Remember to shut and lock all windows, doors, and the garage door when leaving the property and before going to bed. If you use the gas fireplace or stove, please never leave it unattended. Be respectful of the game table and do not move it; return all items to their original places after use. Indoor furniture should not be moved or dragged to avoid damage to floors, as guests are responsible for any damages. Outdoor furniture and recreational equipment should be returned to their original locations after use. Do not tamper with locked closets or cabinets, as they contain private property belonging to the owner. If you misplace items like keys, key cards, or remotes, please report them to SkyRun immediately for replacement for incoming guests. Also, report any damage to the property, furnishings, or soiled carpets and bedding prior to your departure. If you notice any issues upon arrival, please contact SkyRun. For your safety, fire extinguishers are mounted on the wall on each level of the rental. The breaker box is located in the garage, and the water shut-off is in the basement through the laundry room door (look for the blue "T" shaped valve).
