The cabin serves as a convenient base for North Cascades National Park adventures, with Cutthroat Lake trailhead under 20 minutes away, Washington Pass at 25 minutes, and Maple Pass trailhead just 30 minutes drive. Mazama Store with its bakery and grocery is only 2 miles away, alongside Goat's Beard outdoor store and Mazama Public House. Winthrop is 14 miles away for additional dining and shopping.

Important Guest Information: Please note that North Cascade Heli Skiing operates on the property during ski season, so expect helicopter activity. Pets are not permitted. Winter guests should be patient with snow plowing services and must shovel their own entryway area. Freestone Inn main lodge access is limited to dining only when open. Nightly rates vary seasonally and by weekday, so enter specific dates for accurate pricing. Guests do not have full lodge access at The Freestone Inn.
