🏡 HOUSE RULES

Thank you for choosing to stay at our family cabin! To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please review the following rules before your stay.

✨ GENERAL RULES

No parties, events, or large gatherings. Registered guests only; no unapproved visitors. No smoking, vaping, or cannabis use inside the cabin. Please respect the home, décor, and vintage furnishings. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM.

🐾 PET POLICY (Max 2 Dogs)

We welcome up to two well-behaved dogs with simple rules that help keep the cabin clean: Pets must stay off furniture and beds. Pets must be crated or taken with you when left alone. Pick up after your dog outdoors—bags provided. Please wipe muddy paws before entering. No excessive barking or leaving pets unattended outside. Any pet damage or extra cleaning may result in additional charges.

🧹 CLEANING & CARE

Please wash dishes before checkout. Place used towels in the bathtub. Turn off lights, heating, A/C, and the wood stove before departure. Remove all trash from inside the cabin (instructions provided). Follow the posted instructions for the wood stove.

🔥 WOOD STOVE USE

Wood stove is for ambiance and heat; use responsibly. Do not leave the stove unattended while lit. Only dry, clean firewood may be used (no pine needles or scrap wood). Ensure the stove is completely extinguished before leaving or sleeping.

🪜 SAFETY & ACCESSIBILITY

This is a vintage A-frame cabin with original design features. Please note: Multiple staircases connect the levels. The loft railing reflects 1970s code and has wider spacing than modern railings. A baby gate is provided for added safety. The hillside layout includes uneven natural rock steps, which can be slippery. Not ideal for guests with mobility limitations or toddlers without supervision. Your safety is important—please use caution.

🌲 NEIGHBORHOOD & OUTDOORS

Please respect our friendly Valley Hi neighbors and community rules. Park in the designated driveway only (up to 3 vehicles). Keep noise low in outdoor spaces, especially after 10 PM. Community pond and floating docks are shared spaces—use respectfully.

📸 COMMERCIAL USE

No commercial photography, filming, or content creation without prior written approval.

⏰ CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

Check-in: 4:00 PM Check-out: 11:00 AM (Please request early check-in/late checkout in advance—subject to availability.)

💡 DAMAGES & EXCESSIVE WEAR

Any damage, missing items, excessive mess, or rule violations may result in additional charges as outlined in the rental agreement.
