• You may not book if you live locally without asking for permission and letting us know why you need a place in town.

• By booking with us you agree to download our app to gain access to the property.

• Guests will be expected to clean up spills and messes that they make and throw all their trash in the trash can. Also, it will be the guest's responsibility to do the dishes before they leave.

• To protect the host and guest, we must verify all guests ahead of the stay. Please be aware: As a part of the verification process, you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, and pass through our guest portal. The information is collected for screening and verification only and is not stored or used for any other purposes.

• You understand that your check-in instructions will be sent after successfully completing the guest portal.

• THERE WILL BE A $500 CHARGE FOR SMOKING, PARTYING, OR BREAKING ANY OTHER HOUSE RULES!

• Please do not bring glitter, confetti, or anything like that to any of our properties.

• Please ensure that you review the cancellation policy as it pertains to any cancellation for any COVID-19 reason. We encourage guests to purchase travel insurance because we cannot operate outside of our cancellation policy for any reason.

• No food or drink in the hot tub.

• Due to our close proximity to the National Park, we have a large population of insects including ladybugs, house flies, stink bugs, millipedes, carpenter bees, and wasps. Although all of our properties are sprayed regularly by a professional pest control company, the city and park areas are not. During various times of the year, these insects may find their way into the property. By booking you understand that is a possibility during your stay and understand that there will be no refunds related to bugs getting into the property. We will be happy to work with you to get pest control back out if necessary.

Haven Vacation Rentals, LLC’s Vacation Rental Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply. Renter will receive and agrees to sign the Terms immediately after making reservation, which will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• The “Minimum Age” to rent the Property is 25 years of age.

• By booking you agree to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID directly to us. We will request this after your reservation has been made

• The Renter is solely responsible for Renter’s actions and the actions of all family members, guests, and invitees.

• Noise audible outside the Property is prohibited between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.

• Unless authorized by the Property Manager, the number of people present at the Property may not exceed the maximum occupancy indicated in the listing or the reservation for the Property.

• Check-in is from 4:00PM until 11:00PM and Check-out is before 10:00 AM.

• If you do not vacate by check-out time, you authorize us to charge a late departure fee of up to one night’s rental and we may remove all Occupants and their personal property from the Property.

• No smoking is permitted on the Property at any time.

• No animals or pets of any kind are permitted at the Property except (1) as specifically authorized in your reservation, or (2) bona fide service animals that we are required by law to allow.

• Renter authorizes us to bill the credit card on file for the full amount of the Rental Fee at the time of booking. Renter agrees not to make chargeback claims with its credit or debit card issuer.

• Events and commercial photography or filming are prohibited at the Property without our express written permission.

• Use of the Property for any criminal activity is prohibited.

• Neither the Property Manager nor the Owner will be liable for special, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind, including those arising from the use of any pool, hot tub, lake, or bunk bed on the property.

• Upon your arrival at the Property, you should inspect the rental unit to ensure the Property condition is to your satisfaction. If you find any conditions you need to report as unsatisfactory or damaged upon your arrival, you should report such conditions within two hours after the time you arrive at the Property. After the two-hour period expires, the Property is provided as is and we are not responsible for the inoperability or unavailability of any amenities.

• You further agree to give us a reasonable amount of time to respond to your report and to cooperate with our efforts to address the concern or provide a remedy.

• You acknowledge that you may be required to undergo a background check if mandated by the property management company or the building, as stated in accordance with your rental agreement and condition of the booking.

RULES ACKNOWLEDGMENT

The rules in this book are posted throughout the cabin and are part of the rental agreement you accepted at booking. Every guest in your party is expected to know and follow them.

EMERGENCY INFORMATION

1. In any emergency, dial 911.

5. Fire extinguishers are located on every level of the cabin and the garage. If an extinguisher is used for any reason, contact management and/or the fire department right away.
6. Fire exit plans are posted on each level. If a fire spreads, evacuate immediately, call 911, and do not re-enter.

PLEASE READ UPON ARRIVAL

1. Inspect the cabin when you arrive. Report any damage or unsatisfactory condition within 2 hours of check-in.
2. Report maintenance issues or potentially hazardous conditions to Haven Vacation Rentals immediately.
3. Conditions not reported within 2 hours are accepted as-is under your rental agreement.
4. In an emergency, dial 911. The cabin address is posted on the Emergency Information sign.

GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY

1. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Noise audible outside the cabin is prohibited during these hours.
2. Park only in designated areas.
3. Secure all trash inside the bear-resistant container. Never leave trash bags outside or on the porch.
4. Black bears are active in this area. Never feed or approach wildlife, and keep exterior doors closed.
5. County fines for noise, trash, or parking violations are charged to the guest.

HOT TUB RULES

1. Use at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty.
2. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
3. Maximum water temperature is 104°F. Limit soaking to 15 minutes.
4. No glass of any kind in or around the hot tub.
5. Do not use while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
6. Pregnant women and persons with heart, blood pressure, or other medical conditions should consult a physician before use.
7. Shower before entering. Keep the cover secured when not in use.

BUNK BED SAFETY

1. The top bunk is limited to occupants 6 years of age or older.
2. The top bunk is limited to a maximum weight of 175 lbs.
3. No jumping or horseplay on or around the bunk bed or ladder.
4. Always use the ladder when entering or leaving the upper bunk.
5. Low ceiling clearance above the top bunk. Sit up slowly and mind your head.
6. Use at your own risk. Parents accept all responsibility for supervising minors.

GARAGE GAME GUIDE

1. Please turn off the lights when you are done playing, but leave the stair lights on.
2. Return pool sticks to the stick holder after each game.
3. Skee ball (garage loft): the power button is on the left side of the machine. Turn it off when not in use.
4. Do not leave the cornhole boards or bags outside when departing your stay.

Pro tip: Set the boards about 27 feet apart, front edge to front edge, for a competitive game.

5. If cards or chips are missing from the poker table, contact management.
6. Report any damage to management right away

SEPTIC SYSTEM NOTICE

1. This cabin is served by a septic system.
2. Flush nothing except toilet paper.
3. No wipes of any kind (including “flushable” wipes), feminine products, or paper towels.
4. Damage caused by improper flushing is chargeable to the guest under the rental agreement.

VIDEO SURVEILLANCE NOTICE

1. The exterior of this property is monitored by recorded video surveillance.
2. Cameras cover exterior areas only, including entrances, the driveway, and parking. There are no cameras inside the cabin or garage.
3. Tampering with or disabling any camera is a violation of the rental agreement.

A damage protection option is required for all reservations and is processed through our third-party system prior to arrival.
