You’ll be staying in someone’s home, so please treat it with care and respect.
No glitter or color bombs or glitter of any type.
We do allow some small family or team events. Maximum group size at the home is 20. Overnight visitors (between the hours of 9pm and 8am) cannot exceed the number of guests indicated on the reservation. This is a family neighborhood, so please keep noise to a minimum.
We are on a septic system and our pipes are sensitive. No food or grease is to be put down the kitchen sink. If you need to dispose of grease, please just use a coffee mug and we will dispose of it for you. It is also important that no items such as feminine products, baby wipes (even if they say flushable) or any other be flushed down the toilet.
Also, please do not dye hair in our sinks or showers.
We are on a shared community well and many of the local wells are going dry. So we ask that you keep showers a little shorter than you might normally want and have disconnected the large soaking tub upstairs.
A propane BBQ is provided. All cleaning of the BBQ is the responsibility of the guest. We try to ensure at least half a tank is available at check in. Additional propane can be requested and may take up to 24 hours to deliver.
No pets allowed. A minimum $250 up to $2000 claim against your deposit or insurance will be made if this rule is broken. Service animals are always welcome (advance notice should be given out of courtesy) - but please note that this may not be a good fit for guests with service animals as there is no fenced yard for them to potty and there are farm/livestock guardian dogs who freely roam the property and may be unfriendly to strange dogs on the property (we do try to keep them away from the house as much as possible).
No smoking in the house or within 10 feet of doorway. A minimum $250 up to $2000 claim against your deposit or insurance will be made if this rule is broken. We do NOT want to pick up cigarette butts, so please make sure they are properly disposed of.
No moving tables, sofas, etc except as necessary to access the sofa bed.
Thank you and have a fun stay.
