We kindly ask you to read our house rules carefully and keep them in mind during your stay. These are the same rules listed on Airbnb/VRBO that guests agree to prior to booking.
Zero-Tolerance for Parties or Gatherings. Only registered guests are allowed on the property at all times. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE Party & Event Policy therefore parties, gatherings, or other events are not permitted. A $500 fee will be charged for any unauthorized parties, gatherings, or other events on top of any damage fees along with an immediate eviction. Please respect the space, the owners, and the neighbors.
Quiet Hours. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. and are strictly enforced. Please keep noise to a minimum during this time. Excessive noise is subject to cancellation of stay. We want you to have a good time, just don't hold a party or make loud noises (screaming, loud music, howling at the moon, etc.). Please respect our cabin and neighbors.
Absolutely No Smoking. Absolutely NO smoking of tobacco, cannabis, or any other substance in or around the property. Violating this rule will result in a $500 fine and immediate eviction.
Only dogs are allowed but must be included on the booking - maximum 2 per stay. No cats or other animals allowed. Waste needs to be bagged and placed in the outdoor garbage can. Any damage or extra cleaning required will incur a $200 charge. If your dog sheds, please be mindful and brush them outside. In wet/snowy weather please ensure their feet are clean and dry before coming indoors. Be sure they are able to stay in an unfamiliar place alone - best to crate them to prevent unexpected damage. Thank you for understanding.
No breakable dishes and/or glasses in or near the hot tub. Please refrain from using glassware in or around the hot tub.
Overnight Guests Not Permitted. Unless they are included on the initial reservation, overnight guests are not permitted. Our maximum guest number is 6. Any additional guest will result in a $85 per person per night.
Septic System. The cabin is connected to a septic system, please only flush human waste, water, and toilet paper. Anything else (food, wipes, etc.) will cause problems. Any emergency repair of the septic system will result in a $500 charge.
Your Belongings. We are not responsible for your belongings, including but not limited to any belongings left in your vehicles parked in the driveway. Please ensure that you take all belongings with you when you leave the property.
Property care. Please remove shoes while inside - this will help protect the European marmoleum flooring and oriental hand woven rugs. Also please refrain from rearranging the furniture.
No Excessive Trash. We kindly ask that you do not leave trash outside of garbage cans and do not leave trash in bags outdoors (this will invite wild animals.)
Wildlife. The cabin is located in the Cascade Mountains close to Gifford Pinchot National Forest and surrounded by nature. This means there are many wild animals in the area such as: deer, elk, bobcats, wolves, bears, and many others. These animals and plants are a native part of the ecosystem but can be dangerous. Please do not allow children to explore unattended and stay aware of your surroundings. You are solely responsible for your safety and the safety of others during your stay.
Power Outages. The cabin is in a rural area with varied weather - while this makes for an amazing experience there are some potential risks as well. As a result there are regular power outages due to storms, snow, cold, etc. Due to these outages being an Act of God - the host is not responsible for refunds or rescheduling due to power outages. In the event of an excessively long outage - reach out to the host to see what options are possible.
