Discover the timeless charm of "Darla," an all-original 1955 travel trailer tucked away in a private camping spot in Ashford, Washington. Located just 6 miles from Mt. Rainier National Park, this vintage gem serves as the perfect base for all your mountain adventures.

Darla is situated on the grounds of the Ashford Lodge, a former bed and breakfast being transformed into a fun mountain retreat. Guests enjoy a secluded experience in the back section of the property, surrounded by tall trees and a large south-facing lawn. A gorgeous old-growth maple tree provides afternoon shade, creating a peaceful atmosphere for your stay.

Inside the trailer, you are instantly transported back in time. The interior features original wood-paneled walls, cozy lighting, a vintage dinette, and an ice box. The sleeping arrangement consists of 1 bedroom with 1 bed, featuring warm flannel sheets and a down comforter. Please note the bed is slightly larger than a twin, offering a cozy fit for two average-sized adults.

While the trailer preserves its 1950s spirit, your comfort is prioritized with a custom-made glamping bathroom located just behind the trailer. This rustic space is artfully created with reclaimed wood and whimsical touches, providing a flush toilet, a sink with hot water, and a hot shower stocked with high-end Beekman 1802 bath products.

Outdoor living is a highlight of the experience. You can relax in a hammock strung between two spruce trees, lounge in chairs overlooking the lawn, or gather around the propane fire table for s'mores—a great feature that allows for fires even during summer burn bans. For those who enjoy cooking, the kitchenette includes a 3-burner propane stove and a French Press coffee maker. You can also utilize the gas BBQ located in a separate gazebo on the property.

For ultimate relaxation, guests have access to a shared hot tub housed in a beautiful wooden gazebo with dimmer-controlled string lights.

Located at the edge of town, you are within walking distance of local shops and the BaseCamp Bar and Grill. The property also backs directly onto Ashford County Park, providing immediate access to a network of scenic hiking trails.
