Reconnect with nature at Deirdre's, a brand new luxury self-contained shepherds hut snuggled into the wild woods of Lanivet, England. This gorgeous little retreat sits on the undisturbed forest floor, allowing guests to truly feel disconnected from the outside world while enjoying the sounds of birdsong and the sight of resident deer, Deirdre and Dennis, shuffling through the trees.

Designed for a wholesome escape, the hut features one bedroom with a double bed fitted with an Emma mattress, complemented by extra blankets and pillows for a truly snuggly rest. Large windows at the side and base of the bed offer a relaxing view of the wonderous swaying trees, while personal bedside lighting creates a gentle atmosphere for late-night reading. Unlike many shepherds huts, this space includes a comfortable sofa facing a stable door, ensuring you stay warm and dry during less favourable weather without missing the view. For those needing to eat or work indoors, a pull-down table and two benches are provided.

Inside, a wonderful wood-fired log burner provides cozy heating throughout the space. Outdoor and Community Experience: Guests can enjoy an outdoor seating area and a bbq fire pit on dry days, or listen to the rain on the roof during a storm. The property is part of Grambles Glamping and offers free membership to the Wanderlust Camping Club for every booking. The surrounding woodland is open for guests to stroll and explore, with local walks accessible directly from the hut.
