Welcome to your Mount Rainier escape! Named after a beloved pup, Ranger is a beautiful chalet bordering Copper Creek, offering the perfect basecamp for your adventures in Ashford, Washington. This unique retreat is one of the few cabins in the area not located within a development, providing a rare sense of space and independence from the typical cabin communities.

Designed for comfort and connection, the home features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, accommodating up to 6 guests. The sleeping arrangements include one private bedroom with a queen bed and a huge private loft featuring two queen beds, plus a sleeper futon for the kiddos. The open floor-plan is designed for quality time, where you can cuddle up on the large sectional couch, watch Netflix, or cozy up by the wood-burning stove.

Outdoor living is a highlight of the property. You can relax on the large deck or soothe sore muscles in the private, covered hot tub located in the backyard, surrounded by nature and the calming sounds of the neighboring creek. A fire pit is also available for evening gatherings (please note firewood is not provided).

Inside, the full-sized kitchen is equipped with basic cooking essentials for family-sized dinners. For those on extended stays, laundry units are included for your convenience. To ensure a seamless stay during winter storms, the hosts provide bottled water, a propane stove, and lanterns/flashlights in the event of a power outage.

Location is everything here. You are just a 2-minute walk from the famous Copper Creek Restaurant—renowned for its incredible huckleberry pie—and only 4 minutes (2.4 miles) from the entrance of Mount Rainier National Park. While the proximity to the main road is convenient, guests may notice some road noise. Additionally, those visiting during summer weekends should be aware that a neighboring wedding venue may produce crowd and music noise for a single evening.

• Pets: Allowed if coordinated in advance. Pups must be kept on-leash outdoors, waste must be picked up, and pets are not permitted on the furniture.
• Winter Travel: AWD and tire chains are recommended during snowy months.
• Restrictions: The home is not suitable for events; all guests must be listed on the reservation.
