The interior preserves its historic soul with original beams and stone mullioned windows, while a recent renovation ensures all the modern comforts are in place to provide a warm Derbyshire Welcome. The layout includes a comfortable and charming lounge centered around a cozy log burner and open fire, alongside a fully equipped kitchen with dedicated dining space.

Sleeping arrangements are thoughtfully designed for relaxation. Bedroom one offers a king-sized bed, a desk, seating, and clothes storage, complemented by a feature fireplace, a window seat, and a wonderful view. Bedroom two provides flexible sleeping options with either two single beds or a double bed, as well as clothes storage and a window seat overlooking the village.

Located in the pretty village of Bonsall within the Derbyshire Dales, the cottage sits on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Guests are positioned on the Limestone Way and the Peak District Boundary Walk, with the historic St James the Apostle's Church and a medieval market cross nearby. The village is famously known for its annual hen race and its reputation as the UFO capital of Britain. Two locally loved pubs are within easy walking distance of the cottage.

Practical details include private parking for two vehicles located directly outside the cottage, featuring a private EV charging point. While public transport links to Matlock, Wirksworth, Bakewell, and Derby are available, a car is highly recommended to explore the surrounding attractions.
