Nest is exceptionally well-located; the Akatsuki no Yu hot spring baths, local restaurants, and the Shinetsu Trail trailhead are all within a two-minute walk. For further exploration, e-bikes can be arranged for riding through riverside roads and mountain passes. Nearby attractions include kayaking at Hokuryuko Lake (15 minutes by car), Nozawa Onsen, and the famous snow monkeys.

Practical Info & Rules Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Access is provided via a key box. One small to medium dog (up to 15kg) is welcome at no charge, provided they are toilet-trained and have been shampooed and had their nails trimmed prior to arrival. Please bring all pet supplies, including food, bedding, and towels. Note that the property has steep stairs and may not be suitable for very young children. BBQ sets are available for rent for an extra fee, and fireworks are permitted in the car park until 9:00 PM. As this is the Japanese countryside, guests should expect the presence of insects and are encouraged to use the provided bug spray.
