This intimate space is designed for two guests, featuring one bedroom with a large Cal King bed and one updated bathroom. The suite is located on the second floor of the historical carriage house, a building detached from the original historic home. Guests will appreciate the privacy of this self check-in accommodation, though it is important to note that Suite 1 is located on the first floor below. Access to the suite requires navigating approximately 8 steps, making it unsuitable for those with accessibility concerns.

While the structured amenity list is minimal, the suite is thoughtfully appointed for your comfort with several room-specific features:

As a boutique property, The Matriarch features shared outdoor spaces; you may see hospitality, landscaping, or maintenance staff working during daytime hours to keep the gardens and common areas pristine. Your privacy is guaranteed, as staff will not enter your suite unless requested or in an emergency. Please be aware of the lost and found policy: items are held for 30 days, with a $25 handling fee plus shipping for returned items.
