Escape to East Fork Acres, a charming Hocking Hills cottage tucked among towering pines and peaceful countryside in Laurelville, Ohio. Thoughtfully renovated while still embracing its 1980’s roots, this cozy retreat is full of character, warmth, and timeless charm, offering a nostalgic experience where you can slow down and unwind.
This inviting home features 3 bedrooms and 3 beds, comfortably accommodating up to 6 guests across two levels with 2 bathrooms. On the main floor, you will find a bedroom featuring a queen and twin bed, warmed by a cozy wood burning stove; please note that this room is enclosed by curtains rather than a door. The second floor contains one queen bedroom and one twin bedroom. Guests should be aware that access from the twin bedroom to the main stairs requires walking through the queen bedroom and the Jack and Jill bathroom, unless you utilize the kids entrance. Additionally, bedroom ceilings are low, with a maximum height of 6’2” before needing to duck in slanted areas.
Inside, the home is filled with songbird-inspired interiors and collected vintage touches designed for enjoying life’s simpler moments. Outside, the property reveals its greatest treasures: expansive acreage and wide open spaces to explore. You can wander through the land, listen to the seasonal creek, relax beneath mature pine trees, or soak in the private hot tub. The outdoor space is perfect for roasting marshmallows by the fire pit or sipping morning coffee from the porch swing.
Located just a short drive from Old Man’s Cave and the area’s most-loved attractions, East Fork Acres provides the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility.
