Escape to this multi-unit retreat on an historic property in Asheville, North Carolina. Perfect for traveling friends or multi-generation families, this unique offering consists of two separate units rented together to provide both togetherness and privacy. The entire estate was originally an inn built in 1947, now serving as a private residence that has been fully renovated to maintain the character of the original building.
Your stay includes a total of 3 bedrooms, 3 beds, and 2 bathrooms, accommodating up to 6 guests. The layout features a 2-level Carriage House containing 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a large open living room for gathering, and a full kitchen with everything needed to prepare meals. Complementing this is The Rose Room, a quiet and spacious studio in the main house featuring 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, soaring 12-foot ceilings, a gas fireplace, and a coffee station with a microwave and mini fridge. While the Studio is on the ground floor with no stairs, the Carriage House requires stairs to access both the living areas and bedrooms.
Guests enjoy shared access to a peaceful stone patio complete with outdoor furniture and a grill, as well as a shared laundry facility located in the Carriage House. Each unit provides its own private entrance and dedicated on-site parking.
Located in a residential pocket of South Asheville, the property is situated right across the street from a public park featuring a walking path, basketball court, and playground. This super convenient location offers an easy drive to the Asheville Regional Airport (approx. 10 minutes), the Biltmore Estate (approx. 15 minutes), and the downtown centers of both Asheville and Hendersonville (approx. 20 minutes each), as well as the NC Arboretum and Bent Creek.
