About Property

Discover peace and enjoyment at this tasteful waterfront retreat in Rapid City, South Dakota, where you can fall asleep to the sound of the creek and wake up to ponderosa pines stretching up the canyon walls. Nestled deep in the canyon within Hisega, one of the Black Hills' most tucked-away communities, this home offers a storybook escape while remaining just 15 minutes from the heart of downtown.

This residence is thoughtfully configured for your comfort with 3 bedrooms, 3 beds, and 3 bathrooms, accommodating up to 4 guests. The primary bedroom features sliding glass doors that open directly onto the deck, allowing you to look down at the creek from your bed. A second bedroom is warm and well-appointed with rich green walls and a king bed, while a cozy third sleeping area with wood-paneled walls and a daybed completes the arrangements.

The main level is where this place really shines, featuring an open living and dining area with exposed wood beams, hardwood floors, and a stone fireplace. The kitchen comes fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar, complemented by a round dining table that seats six with views of the surrounding hills through oversized windows. For those seeking a quiet retreat, a separate sitting room offers a second stone fireplace, vaulted wood-paneled ceilings, built-in cabinetry, and window seats. Additionally, a private study provides a serene space for reflection. Downstairs, a game room with concrete floors, foosball, and a pinball machine offers a great area for guests to burn off some energy.

The outdoor living space is equally impressive, featuring a wraparound deck that runs the full length of the home directly above the creek. Guests can relax on the porch swing underneath the deck or enjoy the privacy of a yard surrounded by ponderosa pine forest with only a few neighbors in view.
