CHECK IN PROCEDURES: Please note that check-in time is 3:00 PM. The NCV Patrol staff does not have the authority to allow guests to enter before this time unless On The Sand Vacations has authorized an early check-in at least 24 hours before your arrival. Early check-ins are not allowed between Memorial Day and Labor Day, considered summer months.

We have already provided your name and unit number to the HOA, so kindly bring a photo ID to the HOA office to show proof of identity. The office will provide a welcome packet with two sets of keys, a map of the complex, directions to your parking spot, information about the complex, and a parking permit. Once you get the map from the office, follow the map to your assigned parking spot and condo. Please display the parking permit on the front driver-side window of your car. If you check in after 4:30 p.m., the HOA office will be closed. However, you don't need to worry; your welcome packet will be available at the patrol office, which is open 24/7

KEYS & FOBS: During check-in, you will receive two sets of keys. Each set contains the following:

1. One black and blue round FOB will be used to open most gates on the property. Card readers are located at all drive & pedestrian gates and the pool & jacuzzi.
2. The key with numbers and pelican is for some gates and laundry rooms.
3. The smaller key is for your condo door. This looks like a standard house key.
4. Please keep the keys secure and avoid getting them wet. If you lose a set, do not worry; the replacement cost is only $65, in most cases.
5. At the end of your stay, please return the keys to the drop box at the HOA office.

On The Sand Vacations wants to ensure your condo stay is a wonderful experience. So, if you encounter any issues upon arrival or during your stay, please let us know so we can take care of it immediately.

PARKING RULES: Note: Due to the proximity to the beach, the HOA enforces strict parking regulations to guarantee that you have a space to park in.

• You must park in your assigned spot.
• Backing into parking spaces is not allowed.
• Parking permits are always to be displayed on the driver’s side dashboard.

Friendly reminder: your condo's designated parking space(s) are strictly reserved for vehicles only. Trailers are not permitted on North Coast Village property per HOA rules. Please note that the garage clearance is limited to 6' 6", and the maximum vehicle length allowed, including bike racks and hitches, is 21 feet.

You need a temporary or guest parking permit to park in a non-reserved 24-hour parking space. These permits can be obtained by visiting the HOA or Patrol office. Please note that the maximum time limit for parking in these spots is 24 hours. Parking in these spaces is on a first-come, first-served basis. The back of your yellow parking permit lists the non-reserved parking spaces. Remember, the parking rules are strictly enforced by the HOA, not On The Sand. If you have any questions or need clarification, do not hesitate to contact the HOA or Patrol office for assistance. Keep in mind that any violation of the parking rules may result in a $50 fine imposed by the HOA.

There is a public parking lot across the street from the complex, on the east side of Pacific Street, known as City Lot 20. The City of Oceanside maintains that parking lot. There is a kiosk in the parking lot to purchase parking permits. The cost is $7 per day, but please read the signs at the kiosk as information may have changed. The City of Oceanside has agreed to let North Coast Village guests and residents with a valid parking permit displayed to park in the lot at NO CHARGE from 6:00pm to 8:00am ONLY. Parking is strictly enforced. Any questions regarding violations or parking should be directed to the City of Oceanside.

Hey there! This is A friendly reminder to remove all your valuables from your vehicle and lock your car doors. This will help keep your belongings safe and secure.

COMPLEX RULES: As per the HOA rules, only guests with a monthly rental agreement can access the mailboxes. Please contact On The Sand to arrange for a mailbox key if needed. The cost is $25, and a refundable security deposit of $75 is required. UPS, FedEx, & Amazon will deliver packages to the unit. Please include your unit number on all mail for delivery. All mail and packages (including some Amazon) delivered by USPS will go to the mailbox.

BALCONY RULES:

1. Do not hang anything over the balcony, including towels and swimsuits.
2. Bicycles are NOT permitted to be stored on balconies. Bicycles must be stored in the bike storage (permits & keys are required & may be obtained through the HOA for a fee.)
3. Surfboards are permitted to be stored on balconies. Any violation of these rules is subject to a written warning or a $50 fine administered by the HOA

TRASH & RECYCLE: When you're staying with us in one of our lovely high-rise units, we've made it easy for you to take care of your trash. Just pop your trash into a plastic bag, tie it up securely, and drop it down the trash chute. The trash chutes are conveniently located in the breezeway near the elevators. Please do not put anything down the chute that could cause a blockage. If you have something that might jam the chute, please use the dumpsters in the garages instead. And if you're staying in one of our cozy cottage units, you can also use the dumpsters in the garages. North Coast Village has a recycling program, so please bring any recyclable items to the BLUE recycling containers near the trash chutes and the dumpsters. Oh, and be sure not to put trash in the recycling bins! The large dumpsters may be taken to the curb on the trash collection day. If this is the case, please take your garbage curbside.

POOL & JACUZZI HOURS & REGULATIONS: Sunday – Thursday, 9:00 am to 10:00 pm
Friday - Saturday, 9:00 am to 11:00 pm

• Swimmers shall shower before entering the pool or Jacuzzi.
• Usual and customary swimming clothes are required. Cutoffs or blue jeans do not meet this requirement. NO WETSUITS ARE ALLOWED IN THE POOL OR JACUZZI AREA.
• Hairpins, clips, or other objects should not be worn in the pool.
• Ball playing, pool games, tag games, diving, cannonballing, running, or boisterous play are prohibited in the pool area.
• No food of any kind shall be allowed within the pool area. Liquids must not be in glass containers; Glass hurts! Anyone seen with glass containers will be asked to leave the area.
• Injuries are not the responsibility of the On The Sands Vacations.
• Entry to the Jacuzzi shall be through the gate only. Climbing over the fence or gate is prohibited. The gate must be closed and always locked.
• No person under 4' 10' in height may use the Jacuzzi alone. An adult must accompany children under 14 years of age. The adult must always remain inside the Jacuzzi area with the child. Children under three years of age are prohibited inside the Jacuzzi area. The high temperatures of the water (104 degrees Fahrenheit) can harm their health.
• Children under three must wear plastic or rubber protective pants over swim diapers.
• Pool users are responsible for disposing of trash in the containers provided.
• Individuals with open cuts or wounds are prohibited in the pools or jacuzzis.
• Bicycles, roller skates, or skateboards are prohibited in the pool area. Leave walkways clear.
• Pool furniture is to be used on the deck around the pool and Jacuzzi, not in the pool and Jacuzzi. Pool furniture should not leave the pool area at any time.
• No foreign substances, such as bubble baths, soap, beer, etc., shall be added to the pool or Jacuzzi. Persons observed doing so will be assessed the cost of draining, cleaning, and refilling.
• Radios, tape/CD players, stereos, or other electronic devices are prohibited unless used with earphones or a headset.
• Legitimate safety devices for children or disabled individuals are allowed in the pool. Toys or recreational objects are not allowed.

BILLARDS & FOOSBALL: If you're looking for an enjoyable way to spend your free time, consider playing billiards or foosball! To get started, head to the Patrol Office, located at the far eastern end of the complex. Here, you can check out all the equipment you need to play. To do so, you must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license or ID. Once you have your equipment, you can go to the recreation room in the "B" building, where you'll find the billiard tables. Playing billiards is a great way to relax and have fun, but remember that the equipment you borrow from the Patrol Office has a two-hour limit. So, make the most of your time and enjoy your game!

CONDO CARE: We want you to have a fantastic stay, so we've provided all the bath and kitchen linens you need. If you need more during your stay, don't worry! You can use any of the five laundromats in the complex. You may download the Wash Connect app (preferred) or visit one of two kiosks to purchase a wash card and load funds. The kiosks are in the “A” building laundry room and outside the HOA office. A laundry soap vending machine is in the “B” building laundry room.

Please only bring beach towels, beach umbrellas, and beach chairs to the beach during your visit. Do not take pillows, blankets, or patio furniture to the beach. Thank you for helping us keep the beach clean and enjoyable for everyone!

We get it - accidents happen! If you misplace or accidentally damage anything in the unit, give us a shout. We're always happy to help and will arrange a replacement as soon as possible. Guests are financially responsible for missing or damaged items.

Due to the aging pipes at North Coast Village, we kindly ask you to avoid putting any food down the garbage disposal. We appreciate your cooperation!

A friendly reminder to be mindful of your actions in the condos and hallways. While roughhousing can be a lot of fun, it's important to remember that it can cause damage to the property and disturb your neighbors. So, avoid running, jumping, or screaming in the units and hallways; the noise transference to the units below can be quite disruptive. We want to make sure that everyone can enjoy their home peacefully. Thanks for being such a great neighbor!

Please avoid putting wet towels or bathing suits on the living room and kitchen furniture. Please hang them on the hooks and towel bars available throughout the condo. Thank you so much!

If you're staying in one of our lovely ground-level cottages, you'll find a handy bin near the patio door to be filled with water. This bin is there to help you rinse off any sand before you head inside the condo. We want to ensure you stay comfortable and leave the sand outside.

North Coast Village is a pet-free complex.

Please refrain from smoking, including vaping, on the property, in the unit, or on the balcony. Violators may be fined. For your convenience, smoking is permitted outside the North Coast Village gates. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our community healthy and clean.

HOA Occupancy Rules. We want to remind you that infants and children count towards the limit. Here is the maximum number of people allowed in each type of unit: studios (2), one bedroom (4), two bedroom (6), three bedroom (8). If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us anytime!
