GRASS WILL CATCH ON FIRE! USE ASHTRAY PROVIDED UNDERNEATH TREEHOUSE. SMOKING INSIDE WILL RESULT IN $250 EXTRA CLEANING FEE PLUS REPLACEMENT COST OF ANY ITEMS DAMAGED!! • NO CANDLES OR OPEN FLAMES EXCEPT THE GAS FIREPIT • DO NOT THROW ANY TRASH, ROAST MARSHMALLOWS, OR ANY OTHER OBJECTS IN OR ON THE FIRE FEATURE. IT WILL CAUSE GREAT DAMAGE. • DO NOT LEAVE FOOD, TRASH, BEVERAGES, OR DISHES OUTSIDE. PLEASE DISPOSE OF ALL TRASH IN PROVIDED RECEPTACLES. RETURN ALL DISHES TO KITCHEN. BEING A PART OF NATURE MEANS THAT RACOONS, OPOSSUMS, SKUNKS, AND OTHERS ARE LOOKING FOR A FREE MEAL. • EVEN THOUGH WE ARE IN THE CITY LIMITS PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR OUR LOCAL RESIDENT WILDLIFE INCLUDING; TURKEY, DEER, COYOTES, BALD EAGLES, HAWKS, GREAT BLUE HERRONS, TURTLES, SKUNKS, SQUIRRELS, CHIPMUNKS, AND EVEN BLACK BEARS. IT’S ALL PART OF LIVING IN THE MOUNTAINS. • I AM A ROMANTIC AT HEART BUT PLEASE DO NOT PUT UP STREAMERS, USE GLITTER, OR ROSE PETALS! THEY NEVER GO AWAY AND LEAVE A MESS! • PLEASE NOTIFY US AS SOON AS POSSIBLE OF ANY BREAKAGES. • WE KNOW YOU LOVE YOUR PETS BUT PLEASE LEAVE YOURS AT HOME BECAUSE OF ALLERGIES. WE CAN REFER YOU TO BOARDING OPTIONS, IF NEEDED. • THE HOT TUB IS FOR CLEAN BODIES ONLY SO PLEASE DON’T ADD BUBBLES OR DYES. IT WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE HOT TUB. • Do not sit on side of hot tub due to danger of falling out and possibly off of deck. • IF THE HEAT OR AIR ARE ON, PLEASE KEEP DOORS CLOSED TO KEEP BUGS OUT AND THE CONDITIONED AIR INSIDE. • PLEASE DO NOT VENTURE TO MAIN HOUSE OR BEYOND BARNS AS THEY ARE SEPARATE BUSINESSES. THERE IS PLENTY OF SPACE TO EXPLORE IN FIELDS BETWEEN THE RIVER AND TREEHOUSE. • No 4-wheelers, quads, razors, or other off-road vehicles to be ridden on property. • If you use the tubes or beach chairs down by the river, please return them to treehouse when finished. • NO jumping on the log rope bridge. It is designed for two people at a time walking up/down to access the treehouse only. Hopefully the bounce provided by this is fun enough. • Speed limit while on the river place farm is 10 mph. Please be respectful.

• Your reservation includes use of the area between the gravel road and the river. Guests are also allowed access to the sunflower and wildflower fields when blooming. There is a wedding venue in the small barn between the large barn and main house. Please do not venture into the field behind those or anywhere around those buildings (except the mural side of the big barn) as they are operated as separate businesses. Please respect their privacy as we expect them to respect yours during your stay.

I HATE RULES AS MUCH AS ANYONE BUT THESE HAVE COME ABOUT BASED ON EXPERIENCES WITH THE OCCASIONAL PREVIOUS GUESTS. THESE WILL HELP YOU AND EVERYONE TO ENJOY THEIR EXPERIENCES HERE.
