This spacious and comfortable detached holiday home blends historic charm with modern convenience, offering a peaceful retreat for those who love good food, fine wine, and bustling local markets.

Designed for large groups and families, the home features a generous layout with 5 bedrooms, 5 beds, and 2 bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 10 guests. The interior is centered around a very large family kitchen and is amply provided with high-quality essentials to ensure a seamless stay.

Step outside to a sunny, south-facing courtyard flanked by two large barns. The property sits on a 1.5-acre plot that includes a small meadow and gardens filled with a variety of fruit trees, including apple, plum, fig, damson, mirabelle, quince, and walnut. A highlight of the estate is the beautiful 12m x 6m swimming pool, complete with a terrace that offers stunning views of the neighboring fields and landscape.

Located in the heart of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, La Cotte serves as an ideal base for exploration. Angoulême, Brantôme, Cognac, and Périgueux are all easily accessible by car, as are the renowned wine-growing regions surrounding Bordeaux, including the attractive St Emilion. For further adventure, the Atlantic coast is less than a two-hour drive away, and the marvelous caves of the Dordogne are roughly 90 minutes away. For sports enthusiasts, a 9-hole golf course and tennis courts are just 15 minutes away, with premier 18-hole courses in Périgueux and Cognac.

• Linen: Tea towels and bath mats are included. Bed and bath linen are not included but can be provided as an optional set for 230€ per stay.
• Cleaning: A mandatory intermediate cleaning fee is charged at booking for disinfection. Guests are required to leave the home as they found it. A complete cleaning package is available for 150€, otherwise, additional cleaning time will be deducted from the deposit at 35€/hour.
• Security: A stay deposit validation (refundable deposit or a no-deposit waiver) is required prior to arrival.
