Both bedrooms are located on the main level and feature queen beds, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of adventure. The interior includes a cozy living room with a TV and a well-equipped kitchen featuring a fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, and microwave for preparing delicious home-cooked meals. For year-round comfort, a newly added mini split provides efficient heating and cooling.

Step outside to discover an expansive outdoor living space designed for relaxation. You can enjoy the fresh mountain air from the deck, patio, or balcony. The property is perfectly set up for leisure with a gas grill for barbecues and a gas fire pit for gathering under the stars.

Situated in the heart of the Lake Vallecito recreation area, you are just minutes from the marina and endless outdoor activities. Whether you enjoy hiking, biking, ATV trails, fishing, hunting, or winter sports like snowshoeing and snowmobiling, the San Juan wilderness area is right at your doorstep. Local restaurants and general stores are nearby, and the home is approximately 25 miles from downtown Durango and 50 miles from Purgatory Ski Resort.

This home is dog-friendly, allowing a maximum of 2 dogs. A pet fee of $20 per day applies (up to $120 per stay). For your convenience, there is a fenced outdoor pen area for dogs to play, though pets must be crated if left alone inside. Please be aware that the dirt road leading to the cabin can be bumpy, and parking is available for 2 vehicles. Note that this property does not have a washer/dryer.

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Guests must be at least 25 years old to book. Please remember to bring your own life jackets, as Colorado law requires them for all vessel passengers.
