About Property

Discover the ultimate lakeside escape at Beersheba Hemlock, a cozy and unique retreat nestled beside a peaceful mountain lake in Beersheba Springs, Tennessee. This private haven is the perfect basecamp for those seeking outdoor excitement or a quiet place to reconnect with nature in the stunning South Cumberland region.

The home is thoughtfully configured to accommodate up to 5 guests, featuring 2 bedrooms with 2 beds and 1 bathroom. The cabin itself is a piece of local history, constructed from old-growth Eastern Hemlock harvested locally on the plateau. Designed to feel like an authentic fishing cabin from the 1930s or '40s, the interior boasts charming, old-fashioned details including rope between the floorboards, a beaver-chewed log for a handrail, and a vintage 1930s "Monitor Top" refrigerator, making you feel as though you have stepped back in time.

Set on 30 wooded acres, the property offers an unparalleled sense of privacy and serenity. Guests have exclusive access to a 4-acre fishing lake, complete with a large wooden dock for catching bass, crappie, catfish, and brim. Outdoor living is emphasized with a lakeside fire pit accompanied by cedar Adirondack chairs and tables, three picnic tables for gathering, and a charcoal park grill for open-air cooking. Inside, you can unwind with a 50" 4K Smart TV from the comfort of bed or challenge your companions to board games, puzzles, and a checkerboard table located in the loft.

Located in the heart of adventure, the property is just a short drive from The Caverns, Tracy City, Monteagle, and McMinnville. Nature enthusiasts will find themselves minutes away from Savage Gulf State Park, Grundy Forest State Natural Area, Greeter Falls, Grundy Lakes, Foster Falls, Laurel Falls, and Stone Door. Whether you spend your days kayaking, hiking, or chasing waterfalls, the Hemlock provides a peaceful sanctuary to return to as the fog drifts across the water.
