Discover the breathtaking beauty of Alaska at the Waterfront Cabin, a magnificent retreat in Kenai designed to amaze every guest who visits. This unique getaway offers a front-row seat to some of the most stunning natural vistas in the state, with views encompassing Cook Inlet, Twin Glaciers, and the towering peaks of Mt. Redoubt, Mt. Iliamna, Mt. Augustine, and Mt. Spurr—four of which are active volcanoes.
The cabin is designed to accommodate up to 4 guests. The sleeping arrangements include one bedroom with a queen bed located in the main living area, supplemented by two twin beds tucked away in the loft. The layout is completed by one bathroom featuring a shower, toilet, and mirror. For your convenience, the space includes a small kitchenette equipped with a full-size fridge/freezer combo, a two-burner hotplate, a toaster oven, a sink, and a K-cup coffee maker.
Outdoor living is a primary highlight of this property. Guests can relax on the small porch with a two-person bench and table, or enjoy the larger shared grounds which span nearly an acre. The exterior features a large yard, a picnic table, a communal fire pit, and a hammock nestled in the trees. For those feeling adventurous, there is even a slide off the deck. The surrounding wooded borough land is also open for those who wish to jaunt further down the bluffs.
Nature is always within reach here, with an abundance of wildlife including eagles, moose, and occasional bears, as well as seasonal sightings of Beluga whales. The cabin is ideally situated just ten minutes from downtown Kenai and the Kenai River, and approximately 25 minutes from the premier fishing hotspots in Soldotna.
