The space
Welcome to Elijah's Cabin, Isaiah's Cabin, Jack's Cabin, Sónyah's Cabin, and Anna's Cabin by AvantStay! These five cabins sit close to one another on the peaceful side of the Smokies, with a combined total of 10 bedrooms sleeping 30 guests — an ideal option for multi-generational reunions, friend trips, or any group that wants togetherness without sacrificing breathing room.
Tucked into the wooded hillsides above Townsend, Tennessee, this collection trades the crowds of Gatlinburg for something quieter, greener, and a whole lot slower. Downtown Townsend is about 7 minutes away, with two Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrances just 9 minutes from the door — easy access to hiking, tubing on the Little River, and some of the most unhurried mountain scenery in the state. Each cabin brings its own warm wood interiors, soaring ceilings, and expansive windows framing the ridgelines, with private hot tubs and covered decks at every property. A shared firepit ties the group together — gather as the sun dips behind the trees, swap stories under a sky full of stars, and let the quiet of the hillside do its thing.
Elijah's Cabin
The kind of place that slows everything down the second you pull up the drive. This 1,100-square-foot retreat leans fully into its mountain-cabin soul — warm wood walls, soaring ceilings, and expansive windows that pull the surrounding ridgeline right into the living room. The open-concept main level is built for togetherness, with a plush sectional, a classic stone fireplace anchoring the room, and a dining table set for six. A fully equipped kitchen handles everything from quick breakfasts to full cabin feasts, and a washer/dryer makes longer stays easy. The main-level king bedroom offers a quiet escape with its own ensuite, while upstairs, a cozy queen bedroom with a second ensuite gives couples or families their own private corner. A queen sleeper sofa in the living room opens things up for a third pair. Rocking chairs line the covered porch, and a covered hot tub bubbles away just steps from the door for year-round soaks.
Isaiah's Cabin
Warm wood everywhere you look, soaring ceilings, and a wall of windows that frame the Tennessee mountains like a living postcard. The open-concept main level is built for easy gathering — a gas fireplace anchors the living area, paired with a comfortable sectional and a flat-screen TV for low-key movie nights. The fully equipped kitchen flows right into the dining nook, where a table for four pulls up to big picture windows (breakfast comes with a side of ridgeline views). Rocking chairs on the covered deck invite long afternoons with coffee or a glass of wine, and the hot tub tucked under the roofline means you can soak through mountain rain, crisp fall evenings, or a full moon over the treetops. Two bedrooms with ensuite baths give everyone their own corner: a main-level king with direct access to the great room, and an upper-level queen that feels like a private hideaway under the pitched wood ceiling. A queen sleeper sofa in the living room rounds out space for up to six. In-unit washer/dryer keeps trail dirt in check.
Jack's Cabin
Sitting on its own slice of wooded hillside with long mountain views, Jack's Cabin pairs warm wood-wrapped interiors with everything you need to completely decompress. The open-concept main level sets the tone from the moment you walk in: vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams, oversized windows pulling in natural light and treetop views, a living room anchored by a stone fireplace, and a full kitchen with a dining table that seats six. It's a comfortable, lived-in space that feels genuinely welcoming rather than just staged. Two bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bath, give everyone their own breathing room — a king suite on the main level and a queen upstairs — plus a queen sleeper sofa in the living room for extra guests. Outside, soak in the hot tub under a canopy of trees and let the quiet of the hillside do its thing.
Sónyah's Cabin
Warm wood interiors wrap around an open-concept main level where a stone fireplace anchors the living room and a dining table for six sets the stage for long, unhurried meals. Extensive windows pull the mountains inside, and when the sun starts to dip, the covered deck becomes the best seat in the house. Rocking chairs line up along the railing for morning coffee with a valley view, and the hot tub sits just off to the side — perfect for soaking under a sky full of stars once the evening rolls in. Inside, two queen bedrooms (each with its own ensuite bath) sit on separate levels for added privacy, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room means you can comfortably host up to six. A full kitchen, washer/dryer, and all the everyday essentials make longer stays feel effortless.
Anna's Cabin
Wood-wrapped walls, soaring ceilings, and expansive windows frame the mountain views from nearly every angle, while rocking chairs on the covered deck invite slow mornings with coffee and even slower evenings watching the ridgelines turn gold. Inside, the open-concept main level flows easily between the living area — anchored by a gas fireplace — the full kitchen, and a dining table that comfortably seats six. Two bedrooms, each with an ensuite bath, offer private retreats: a king on the main level and a queen upstairs. A queen sleeper sofa in the living room rounds out sleeping arrangements for up to six guests. Cabin-cozy touches are everywhere, from the knotty pine finishes to the warm glow of evening light through the windows. A washer and dryer inside mean you can pack light and stay longer.
