About Property

Discover a serene escape at Three Field Farmhouse, a timeless retreat set across open Southwest Michigan farmland in Sodus Township, framed by lush orchards and vineyards.

This historic 1920s home is designed for family connection and relaxation. The interior is beautifully lined with reclaimed barnwood and exposed brick, complemented by wide-plank floors. The heart of the home is the main floor, where a large kitchen island and round dining table provide ample space for the entire group to gather under matching beaded chandeliers. For those seeking a moment of peace, the living area features a comfortable chaise and tall windows that create a quiet sanctuary.

The home offers a warm, collected feel with four bedrooms, each layered with vintage accents and soft textures. The sleeping arrangements include:

• Bedroom 1: King bed
• Bedroom 2: Queen bed
• Bedroom 3: Two Twin beds
• Bedroom 4: Queen bed

With two bathrooms, the primary suite boasts a private ensuite with a walk-in glass shower. The shared upstairs hallway bathroom is equally impressive, featuring elegant tilework, a spacious glass shower, and a large soaking tub. A whimsical half bath, which also houses the stacked washer and dryer, adds a playful nod to the home's early 20th-century roots.

Outdoor living is a highlight of the property. Guests can watch the light shift across the fields from the front porch or enjoy al fresco meals on the shaded patio using the gas grill or the Weber charcoal grill. The grounds feature a storybook playhouse for children, a weathered historic barn, and a whimsical mint-green garden shed with a pink door. To unwind, step into the pergola-covered hot tub and gaze at the stars.

Located perfectly for exploration, the farmhouse is near the Makers Trail and renowned wineries such as Round Barn, Lemon Creek, and 12 Corners. Nearby U-pick farms offer seasonal berries and peaches, while the towns of St. Joseph and South Haven provide boutique shopping and lakeside dining. Nature enthusiasts can explore the Sarett Nature Center, Van Buren State Park, or the sandy shores of Silver Beach and Rocky Gap.
