Guests have full access to the entire property, including the dock and the swim platform island. Please note that the dock is reserved for small watercraft under 20 feet. Practical Information: Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Pets are allowed only if previously authorized. To maintain the home’s quality, shoes must be removed indoors and smoking inside the cabin is strictly prohibited, with violations resulting in a $1,000 fine. Quiet hours begin at 9 PM, and loud noise is prohibited after 11 PM. Please adhere to the garbage policy using the bear-proof bin provided behind the cottage; two bags are included, with additional bags incurring fees. No fireworks or daytime burning are permitted per township regulations.

🏡 General Guidelines Treat the home with care: Please respect the space and furnishings as if they were your own.

No smoking indoors: Smoking inside the cabin may result in a $1,000 fine.

No shoes inside: Help us keep the space clean by removing your shoes indoors.

No pets allowed unless previously authorized.

HOT TUB: The hot tub may not be turned down below 90 degrees and please don't put the cover on the ground.

🔇 Noise & Respect for Neighbors Quiet hours start at 9 PM, and no loud or excessive noise after 11 PM.

Outdoor music, yelling, or disruptive behavior is not allowed at any time.

Violations may result in a fine or forfeiture of your security deposit.

👥 Guests & Gatherings Maximum of 4 guests included in your booking.

Up to 6 guests total is permitted with an extra charge of $25/night per person.

No parties or unregistered guests.

No more than 4 vehicles on the property at any time.

🔒 Safety & Security Lock all doors and windows when leaving.

Familiarize yourself with the fire extinguisher and emergency exits.

Do not drive vehicles, ATVs, or trucks into the backyard without prior permission.

No daytime burning is allowed, per Township regulations.

No fireworks are permitted at any time.

🌊 Outdoor Use Life jackets are mandatory when using paddle boards, kayaks, or boats.

Campfires must be fully extinguished before bed or when leaving the property.

Please keep outdoor spaces tidy and respect noise levels, especially by the lake and firepit.

🧹 Cleaning & Garbage Do not pour oil, coffee grounds, or food down the sink.

Only toilet paper in the toilet — no paper towels, feminine products, or other materials.

Do not leave garbage outside — it attracts wildlife.

Place all garbage in the bins provided.

Please wash your dishes before leaving.

Try to leave the cottage as you found it.

Garbage Policy:

2 bags of garbage are included. Additional bags (up to 5 total) are $10 each. More than 5 bags will incur a $150 flat fee.

⚠️ Important Failure to follow these rules may result in a $150 fine, loss of your security deposit, or early termination of your stay. We may send a property manager to check in if any issues arise during your visit.
