About Property

Experience the ultimate coastal getaway at Sapphire Unit 1706, an iconic retreat perched on the 17th floor of the South Tower in South Padre Island, Texas. Located within the striking teal complex that welcomes you as you cross the causeway, this home offers a premier vantage point where the Gulf of Mexico meets the sky.

This spacious residence is designed for comfort and flexibility, featuring 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms that can accommodate up to 8 guests. The layout includes an open-concept kitchen with an eat-in breakfast bar, high ceilings, and all-tile floors throughout. The master suite is a true sanctuary, boasting a private en suite bathroom with a garden soaker tub, a glass shower stall, and a walk-in closet, all while offering direct ocean and beach views from the bedroom.

One of the most unique aspects of Unit 1706 is its south-facing position, providing an unobstructed sightline to the SpaceX launch facility. Watching a rocket climb above the Gulf from the 17th floor is genuinely one of the most exclusive experiences on the planet. Guests can enjoy two private furnished balconies: an ocean-facing balcony for serene Gulf views and a bayside patio equipped with an electric grill for open-air family cookouts.

While the property does not list individual general amenities, guests have full access to the world-class Sapphire resort facilities. These include the island's longest pool (approximately 100 yards), a massive 12-person heated jacuzzi, a private game room with pinball, foosball, and a pool table, and a 24-seat private theater. Additional resort perks include a fitness center, a full-service spa with an Aveda salon, private beach access with an outdoor shower, and EV chargers in the garage.

Located on the vibrant south end of the island, you are right next door to the Margaritaville Resort's restaurants and bars. Within a 350-yard stroll, you'll find a diverse culinary scene including Sea Ranch fine dining, Dirty Al's Seafood Dive, Russo's Family Italian, and Calacas Mexican Tacos.
