About Property

Discover a hidden gem at The Lobster Pot, a quirky and comfortable shepherd's hut perfectly situated for romantic retreats in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Redcar and Cleveland. This secluded getaway combines a traditional seaside cottage style with a snug, homely atmosphere, offering a peaceful sanctuary just 100 metres from the beach and the popular Ship pub.

Designed for intimacy and relaxation, the layout features one bedroom with a comfy double bed and premium bed linens to ensure a blissful night's sleep. The property includes one bathroom, designed in a traditional style as a compact space featuring a shower, wash basin, and WC. Guests can gather in the inside dining area to enjoy the warmth of the log burner during colder months, creating a cozy haven after a day of exploration.

While the structured amenities are minimal, the living space is thoughtfully appointed for a self-catering stay. Guests can prepare light bites in the kitchen and take advantage of the outdoor facilities. The exterior features an enclosed gravelled area with seating for two, ideal for breathing in the fresh coastal air, alongside a portable fire pit and barbeque facilities for alfresco dining in the warmer months.

Located in the charming Victorian Spa town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea on the North Yorkshire coast, the location is a dream for nature lovers. The Cleveland Way National Trail is right on the doorstep, offering exhilarating cliffside walks to the secluded beach at Skinningrove or longer journeys along the well-marked trail. The town is famous for the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK, which leads down to the promenade and a 208-metre pier. Explore the maze of paths in the Valley Gardens or take a 17.5-mile trek to Sandsend to witness the beauty of the coastline. With Saltburn Train Station and various bus routes nearby, the property is also well-positioned for visits to Whitby, Staithes, and the North Yorkshire Moors.
