Located along the River Esk in the dock area, Starboard Bow is just a short 10-minute walk from the bustling town centre. Explore the East bank's narrow medieval streets, boutiques, and fish restaurants, or climb the famous 199 steps to the Church of Saint Mary and the ruined Whitby Abbey, the inspiration for 'Dracula'. Cross the swing bridge to the West side for cosy pubs, arcades, and the blue flag West Cliff Beach. For nature lovers, the property is part of the North York Moors National Park, offering a haven of woodland and moorland. The Whitby train station is less than a mile away, and various bus routes (X4, X93, and 95) provide easy access to quaint coastal villages like Sandsend and Staithes.
