Discover the ultimate secluded getaway at Hidden Lake Lodge, a rustic cabin set on 50 private wooded acres in Hawley, Pennsylvania, complete with your own private lake. This is the kind of place you come to when you actually want to disappear for a few days, offering total seclusion with no neighbors in sight, no traffic, and no noise—just tall trees, water, and quiet.

The cabin is warm and rustic in the best way, featuring tongue-and-groove wood throughout and a wood-burning fireplace to gather around at night. The unfussy layout is built for groups, consisting of 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. While there are 4 beds that sleep 8 guests, the home can welcome up to 12 guests (additional guests should bring extra bedding such as air mattresses). For maximum comfort in every season, central heat and A/C are provided in every room.

Sleeping arrangements include a King bedroom with an ensuite bathroom on the main floor, two Queen bedrooms also on the main floor, and a fourth Queen bedroom located on the lower floor.

Days here run at lake pace. You can fish right off your own shoreline, take the single-person kayak or pedal boat out on the water, or claim the hammock on the screened-in porch. For those who enjoy exploring, there are marked hiking trails throughout the property. Evenings are meant for relaxation with an indoor firepit, an outdoor firepit, a deck for outdoor meals, and two grills—one on the screened porch and one outdoors. While you are getting off the grid, you remain connected with strong Wi-Fi and good cell service.

Located 100 miles from NYC and 2.5 hours from Philadelphia, the lodge is near local attractions like Woodloch Resort, Elk Mountain, Big Bear, and Lake Wallenpaupack. You are also close to downtown Hawley, a walkable town with cafés and shops, and the historic Hawley Silk Mill.

• Access: Reached by a 2-mile dirt road. SUV or 4WD is REQUIRED in winter; an SUV is highly recommended in summer due to potential ruts and soft spots.
• Rules: Minimum age requirement of 25 years old (majority of guests must be 25+ except for families with children). A rental agreement is required before the stay.
• Pets: Well-behaved dogs are allowed on a case-by-case basis for an additional $75 per pet fee.
• Parking: Limited to 7 cars; no RVs allowed.
• Security: Guests must choose between a $999 refundable security deposit or a $39 damage waiver post-booking.
