The layout spans four floors, taking advantage of the natural contours of the hill with several sunken garden areas. The interior is a blend of traditional beams and brickwork paired with a contemporary, stylish interior that offers character in spades. The heart of the home is a vast open-plan living area featuring a spacious and well-equipped kitchen and a dining area capable of catering for up to 14 people. For relaxation, a large and luxurious sitting room provides an intimate space with a Smart TV and double doors opening onto a terrace for balmy summer evenings.

Sleeping arrangements are thoughtfully distributed across the property. The ground floor hosts an extensive bedroom with a sitting area, french doors, a small balcony overlooking tranquil fields, and an ensuite bathroom with a rainfall shower. The first floor contains three bedrooms and a family bathroom, while the second floor is dedicated to the primary bedroom, which includes a dressing room and ensuite. The sixth bedroom is located in the basement and features a circular bath and ensuite cloakroom. Please note that the basement bath operates only as a normal bath, not a spa bath.

Outside, guests can enjoy a large, fully enclosed garden with picture-perfect surroundings, ideal for al fresco dining.

Location & Neighborhood: The property is situated in the delightful village of Chelsworth, famous for its ancient houses and outstanding gardens. The village is home to around 70 properties and has remained largely unchanged for 200 years. Local highlights include the well-known village pub, The Peacock, and a village shop, both within a short walk. The area is positioned midway between the medieval towns of Lavenham and Melford, both offering art galleries, cafes, and shops.
