The main level also features a bedroom with a queen bed and TV, a hallway bath with a tub/shower combination, and a laundry area. The second floor houses two additional bedrooms, both featuring king beds (one with a TV), which share a second hallway bath equipped with a shower.

Inside, the cottage offers the appeal of simpler times through hardwood floors throughout and classic beadboard walls and ceilings. The exterior is designed for outdoor enjoyment, featuring a front and side porch with Adirondack chairs—perfect for your morning coffee—and a rear screened porch for comfortable lounging. For those returning from the sand, a hot/cold outdoor shower is available.

Situated in Wahab Village on a quiet dead-end street with minimal traffic, BJ Garrish Cottage puts you in a central location on the island. You are just minutes from the beach and Silver Lake Harbor, and you can enjoy a short stroll to some of Ocracoke's finest restaurants, including Pony Island, Back Porch, and Flying Melon, as well as the local coffee shop for pastries.
